Course date guarantee

For a course to commence it is necessary to provide a minimum number of participants enrolled. If this number is not reached the course date will be rescheduled. Applicants will be notified in due course and deposits will be kept and directed towards the next date.

Due to unforeseen circumstances e.g., teacher illness; a course or class may be cancelled and rescheduled to another date. If sufficient notification has been received by the BHQ academy, an email and/or text message will be sent to all students registered on the course advising them of the change. A cancelled training will usually be rescheduled to the following week, at the normal time and day. However, where this is not possible another date will be selected. On rare occasions it may be necessary to reschedule a class because of a bank holiday. Learners must provide a valid mobile number and email address when they register with BHQ.

In case of course cancellation due to the said reason upon discretion of BHQ a full paid amount less Eur 50.00 administration fees refund will be processed. Any fees paid are refunded by bank transfer and will require some time to process, up to 14 bank days.

Course fees payment policy

In all cases fees must be paid before courses commence. Under no circumstances can learners attend a class without payment.

Applications received after the commencement date of a course cannot be accepted.

Course deferrals

Students can request their place deferral at least 10 days prior their course commencement date. This is a good will of BHQ management to affirm a deferral. The decision on each individual case is up to BHQ discretion. Less than one week before a course commences participants cannot defer their place.

Refund policy

All BHQ courses must remain viable and be self-financing. Thus, NO REFUNDS, under any circumstances, are available once a course is fully booked, confirmed and commencing as scheduled. We regret we cannot satisfy any requests for refunds. Once a course commences students cannot defer their place on same course to another date. It is the responsibility of the students to inform themselves of the course commencement date, content, duration, etc.

Course is considered as commenced from the moment when orientation email is sent with theory material provided for home-study.

Assessment and Certification

Certificates of attendance are either issued immediately upon completion or posted to respective students within two months of course completion. Certificates of Attendance are only issued where a learner has 100% attendance on the course.

Replacement Certificate: A replacement fee of €10 will apply for the re-issuing of a certificate of attendance.

In order to get the certificate of approved and insurable qualification in respective discipline it is required to complete and submit three case studies to BHQ for validation and approval. After successful approval students are issued corresponding certificate by post, or handed in person.

Without case studies submitted students can be issued the certificates of attendance only, which are not insurable and/or recognised.

All three case studies submitted should contain the filled out consultation form and photo evidence of treatment completed, in high quality (close and clear). Completed case studies to be emailed to accreditation@beautyhq.ie No work will be accepted to validation if sent via social media messengers as said materials have to be systematized and filed by academy in appropriate manner.

Course work, i.e. theory quizzes and case studies will not be returned to learners once submitted for assessment. Students are therefore advised to retain copies of all course work submitted. This is necessary both for the learner’s own future reference and in the event of the trainer requesting a copy of the course work, for whatever reason. Digital copies should also be retained. All hard copy materials will be disposed of after 12 months.

Students are encouraged to undertake assessment of the respective validating body. BHQ trainer will inform students of their qualification accreditation procedure and dates for case studies submission.

It is the responsibility of the learner to register for all relevant assessments and pay the appropriate accreditation fee. Accreditation fees are non-refundable.
